Red & Green!

This card was designed for my upcoming Stamp Club meeting! Carmen requested a card with embossing paste! Looked up some current challenges to use as inspiration: Hand Stamped Sentiments for the sketch, Simply Clean & Simple for the colors, and The Paper Players for the theme!428

For the circle element, mix some Garden Green Ink Refill with a small bit of Shimmery Embossing Paste. Then apply to cardstock through the Abundant Beauty Decorative Mask. Be sure you wash off your mask and tools as soon as you’re finished! Let dry, then cut out with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the “Merry” in Real Red and cut out using the Nesting Essentials Dies. The “Christmas” was stamped in Garden Green, then fussy cut! The silver sprigs are from the Timeless Arrangements Dies. Added some silver Festive Pearls as a finishing touch!

All that glitters is not gold but a beautiful Green Houndstooth. Stunning card, clean and simple looking with lots of perfect little details. Thanks for sharing your card with us at HSS this round. Cheers, Jolanda – DT
