Hello! And welcome to the Funky Folds Blog Hop! We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless. All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold!
I’m using one of my favorite suites–the Celebratory Sips Suite. It’s just so much fun! Love the colors in the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper!
This card is also a gift card holder (or cash!)
Below left is what i looks like with the front flap open, then the right shows the right flap open–see the pocket! One of my friends said she was going to put sprigs of lavender in the pocket. We convinced her that money was better!
Here are the measurements:
- Timed Tiger: 7 3/4″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 2 1/2″ and 6 3/4″; 5 1/4″ x 2 1/4″; 5 1/4″ x 3/4″
- Celebratory Sips DSP: 5 1/2″ x 6″, scored at 2″; one of the drinks images.
- Basic White: 2 3/4″ x 5/8″
- Watercolor Paper: 5″ x 3 3/4″
