Hello all!! Hope this finds you quite well! I have a super fun card for you today–for the theme challenge at CAS on Fridays! “Things with Wings” is what they’re looking for! So, Beautiful Butterflies to the rescue!
I started with a piece of Basic White cardstock, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Using masking paper, mask off all but 1 3/4″ from the left. Using a blending brush, add some Strawberry Slush ink to the left edge. Before removing the masking paper, stamp several butterflies–using the same Strawberry Slush ink.
When I pulled the masking paper off, my edge wasn’t as “clean” as I’d like, so I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends and a ruler to draw a black stripe! You could also add some ribbon here, if you’d like! Stamped another butterfly onto a scrap of Basic Whtie cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die. He’s mounted using Stampin’ Dimensionals, as is the sentiment. (From the Greetings for All Ephemera Pack).
