Blending Circles

Good morning! We have a super fun challenge for you at SU! Only Challenges–CIRCLES! You can use circle punches, circle dies, circle stamps, or do what I did, and use a stencil (homemade!).

I punched several different sizes with my circle punches from window sheets to create “stencils”, then had some fun!! I used Real Red and Granny Apple Green, then for the smallest circles, I added versamark ink with my sponge dauber, then embossed with Gold embossing powder! It’s really pretty in person, but was hard to take a picture of!

The sentiment was also embossed with gold, then layered onto a piece of Real Red cardstock and some of the fun Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper (see the gold dots on clear?!)

I really love the way it turned out, even if the photo doesn’t do it justice!! 🙂

  1. Really cute card, Tammy! Your giant circles and the colors remind me of a really old DSP pack that SU! had called Dashing, I still have some of that paper in my stash. I love that we all did different things with circles, your homemade stencil idea turned out great!
