Faux Letterpress Technique!

Good morning!  Just learned this fun technique–Faux Letterpress!  It involves stacked die cuts, watercolor paper and your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!

Cut 3 of the dies (your choice) out of cardstock, then one from vellum.  Glue them into a "stack", with the vellum die cut on the bottom.  Create a background using watercolor paper–whatever you'd like to do is fine!  I just added reinkers to mine!   Next, apply white craft ink to the vellum (bottom of stack), and place on the watercolor paper.  Now run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss using the sandwich for embossing.  This is what you'll get!

Here's another sample, this time I used Cajun Craze Classic ink on the vellum for a whole other look!

It's such a fun technique, but very messy!! haha!!  It's very therapeutic to cut and glue the die cuts in a stack–I think I could do that all day!
