I love clean and simple. It’s my favorite style of card making. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the fru-fru stuff, the cards that won’t fit in an envelope! I go crazy looking at it all! BUT, when it comes down to creating, well, I prefer the clean and simple. After 15+ years, I’m finally not afraid to admit that I’m just not good at fru-fru! 🙂 I still admire it and those that do it so beautifully, but I’m okay with my style!
Funny enough though, the simple, one-layer challenge blogs really do give me the hardest challenges. Not sure why that is, hmmmm………….
Over at the Less is More blog, the challenge this week is to create a one layer card that includes a stem! The hardest part was picking which stem to use!! 🙂 Here’s what I created:
I colored onto my stamp directly, using Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers. After stamping, I used Dazzling Details to add some sparkle to the flowers. It’s very hard to capture with the camera, but it’s very pretty! and subtle.
