Spotlight on Nature

I love masking–it’s so fun and easy to do! This card shows how simple masking really makes the image pop!!

Two strips of Stampin’ Up! Masking Paper were laid down–the placement is completely up to you! Then, using a blending brush, add your choice of Stampin’ Up!’s classic inks. I chose Lost Lagoon. I really wanted to use the Black & Very Vanilla Checked Ribbon, so I used Very Vanilla for my card. Once the blending is complete, remove the masking paper, then stamp your image using Tuxedo Black Memento ink!

The sentiment was stamped in then punched out using the Labeled with Love punch. I added some Tear & Tape adhesive to the back of the punched out sentiment, and attached my ribbon. To secure it, I cut a piece of double-sided adhesive foam and adhered the label to the card with that!

This card was made for my MARCH Stamp-a-Stack! Yes, I’m a bit behind on my posting! But, everything I used is still available!!
