Hi all!! Only two days until Christmas!! Are you ready?
The sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge today is very interesting! Lots of panels! I thought it would be fun to use strips of masking paper to create my panels.
I laid out the masking paper, creating five different squares/rectangles on Balmy Blue card stock. Then, I added some Blueberry Bushel ink all over, and pretty heavily. This is done with a blending brush. Then, emboss some snowflakes in white. I wanted some “splatters”, so didn’t use the embossing buddy. (note: the strips of masking paper are still there!) Once it’s all embossing, pull up your masking paper–that’s always my favorite part–the “reveal”!
For the main panel, I embossed a circle with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder. Then added a sentiment and the Decorative Tree!! Super simple!

I hope you’ll play along! Be sure you head over to see the other designer’s creations!

Love how you created your panels and I love the BLUE! Very pretty Christmas card! So happy you played with our sketch this week at Atlantic Hearts!
Thanks, LeAnne!!
Ooops, sorry! Thought you were a contestant, LOL!!!! My bad!
You crack me up!! I’ve done this before–it’s easy to do with the linky tools!!
