Good morning! Our theme at Inspire.Create is “Something New”. This could be a new stamp set, a new baby, etc! I can’t wait to see how you interpret our theme!!
Well, I immediately went to my NEW catalog, and the first “had to have” Suite I saw in the new catalog was this Take to the Sky Suite! For my family, it’s the perfect masculine set! I can’t wait to make more cards with it!!
For this card, the largest airplane was stamped in Night of Navy Ink. It was colored with Smoky Slate and Boho Blue, using a water painter. This is cause the Night of Navy ink to “bleed”–it was intentional–doesn’t it look cool? Clouds were stamped in Boho Blue and Night of Navy. The plane was cut out using the coordinating dies, and attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals! The background on the large panel is a piece of the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper.
The small panel is actually the card! It opens to reveal the “Happy Birthday” from the suite. It’s a smallish panel, so kept the inside simple, to allow for space to sign the card!
Below are the supplies used to make this card–except the Take to the Sky Suite–it’s not available until May1!
