Okay, so I totally missed the “vellum” in the name of May’s Product of the Month!! haha! So, when mine arrived, I was so surprised–but a very happy suprised! This Berry Botanical Vellum (available for only $5 with a $75 order!!) is so pretty!!!
I sat down yesterday, and played with it! Here’s what I created:
This first card is simple-I adhered the vellum to a Basic White Thick cardbase, then added a frame around the vase of flowers (fussy cut from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP). If you look closely, you’ll see that the image was colored with the Shimmer Brushes! Love these!!

This next card is a z-fold card, using the same pattern. The flowers were colored with Stampin’ Blends, and adhered to a panel embossed (yes embossed) with the Eyelets Blooms Die and Impressions Plate! I colored the strip of DSP on the inside with the Peaceful Pine Shimmer Pen, although it’s hard to see! Just FYI–I wouldn’t recommend the z-fold with vellum — mine is already cracking at the score lines.

This last card was created for my Stamp Club later this month. Again, just adhered the vellum to the Basic White Thick card base. A trick–adhere the frame to the vellum first, then turn over and put glue just behind the frame–so you don’t see it from the front! The flower is stamped in Blackberry Bliss, then colored with the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends, trying to mimic the flower in the Vellum. The center of the flower is colored with the Barely Blush Shimmer Brush.

Hope you enjoyed these cards! You’ll absolutley LOVE the vellum when you get it!!.
