CLUB SWAPS!!

My wonderful stamp club met yesterday–what fun we had!!  We learned several techniques–which I’ll share later this week!  But, I just had to share these beautiful swaps!!  The theme was Sympathy or Thank You!

By Grace (voted favorite card this month!)

I’m sorry, but i don’t have all the details for this card. I didn’t create it. But, here’s my guess: It’s a Blackberry Bliss card base. Emboss the front with your favorite embossing folder (this particular one is retired). There’s a small strip of Smoky Slate or another gray–cut with the Basic Borders die. Cut a piece of white card stock with the same die. I’m guessing on the measurements, but try 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ for the white before you trim. Stamp the white with your favorite stamps. (the ones pictured are retired). Hope this helps! Again, someone else created this, and I don’t have the card in my possession anymore.

Mary also brought everyone an extra card for Halloween!  Everyone got one of these designs!  These are super cute–the front of the card is only the bottom half–wish I had a picture!!

Those cards are beautiful! How did you make the top card with the purple flowers? I love that card.
    Thank you

    1. Hi Susan! I didn’t make the cards here–they were swaps, made by the ladies in my club. The card you like is made with mostly retired items!

      1. Hey Tammy, is there any way to find out from Grace what embossing folder she used for this card? I would love to recreate this card but can’t seem to do it “justice” with what I have. Thanks for sharing all these awesome projects.

        1. It’s from Sizzix, not Stampin’ Up!. She said it was an older one. I looked on the Sizzix site, but couldn’t find it! Sorry!!

  2. Hi can you please tell me the name of the flower stamp set used in the top sympathy card? I realize it’s retired but I might have it if I know the name to look for.
    Thanks
