Working on some club projects for next week, and decided to make a card for The Paper Players Challenge — “Be a Deer”. He’s from the Grassy Grove Stamp Set. He’s embossed in Copper–love the texture I got with the embossing powder! Not sure what I did, but it’s cool!! The trees in the background are Shaded Spruce.
The layer of Shaded Spruce was embossed with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder — then I went over it with a Blending Brush and Shaded Spruce ink — just to add some dimension. You want to do this with a light hand!
The card base is Copper Clay, and I added some of the Earth Tones Shimmer Gems! I hope you like it!
I would also like to enter this at The Male Room — it’s an Anything Goes Masculine challenge!!
Your embossed deer looks fabulous! Great idea for a masculine card, too! The embossing and the stamped trees give this is a nice natural look! Thanks for playing with my Paper Players challenge this week!
Thank you, LeAnne!!
A forested wonderland, Tammy! The elements you pulled together resulted in a very attractive card. Thank you for joining us at paper Players this week. Cheers, Jolanda – DT
