Good morning, and welcome to another Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop!! Our theme this morning is to make a project using dies! That’s easy–I seem to use them on everything I make!! haha!!
This card was created for a Fun Folds Holiday card class. It was such a fun class.
To create the tree, emboss the tree insides in silver embossing powder–doesn’t it look cool?!! Then cut out with the tree outline, and add a silver foil star! I also used the pine branches dies from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies–cut two from glimmer paper, and two from silver foil.
The sentiment was also embossed in silver, then punched out.
Below, you can see it open. The trickiest part of this card is to add dimensionals only to the right side of the sentiment panel–so that the tree panel can slide underneath it when you close the card.
Don’t you just love the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper? It’s my favorite!! And the Night of Navy looks so elegant with all the silver! Love the way this one turned out!!
Measurements for the card Base: 5 1/2″ x 10 3/4″, score at 1 5/8″, 3 1/4″, then turn and score 1 5/8″ & 3 1/4″ from the other side. The idea comes from Gina K — her video can be found HERE.
Be sure you hop along — these ladies are so very talented!
Here are all the products used on today’s card–happy shopping!
