Hello all, and welcome to my little spot on the WWW!! Today’s card features a cool embossing technique called Faux Cracked Glass!
Basically, you stamp a panel–whatever you’d like! Then, you smoosh Versamark ink all over the panel, add Clear Embossing Powder, heat and repeat! You want 3-4 layers of embossing. I didn’t put mine in the freezer like we used to do ages ago–and my sample turned out okay. But, when we did this at my Stamp Club, the ladies had varied results. So, if you try this–after all the embossing, stick it in your freezer for. 15 minutes or so, and then “crack” it!

It’s really a cool technique! Oh–one other tip I just thought about–when you’re doing your embossed panel, start with a bit larger piece of cardstock than you want–it’s hard to handle without getting fingerprints. If you cut larger, you can trim off the ugly part!
