Good morning! The challenge at Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges is “GREEN”. I chose to not do a St Patrick’s Day card–I don’t have any stamps of a clover! (guess I should do some shopping, huh?!!) I used the Forever Fern Stamp set, and several different greens!

To do the sentiment “strip”, I cut a strip of masking paper 1″ wide, and placed it down the center of the card. Then, I stamped all the leaves. Colors used: Shaded Spruce, Pear Pizzazz and Evening Evergreen. I also stamped 3 extras on another piece of Basic White cardstock, and cut them out with the coordinating Flourishing Flourishing Dies.
Once stamping is complete, remove the masking paper. To sharpen the lines, I used the Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blends and a ruler to add two lines. Then, stamp your sentiment. It’s an easy technique, but so striking!! I’ve made this card before, but in brighter colors–you can see it HERE.

Such a beautiful stamps, ink, and paper card.
So clever how you used a marker as an alternative to paper.
Thank you, Cindy!!
