Good morning!! We have a GREAT blog hop for you today–we’re highlighting the awesome Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives! We just had a new release in July, but I’m going to share a fun card we made for my stamp club!
For the front panel, Blackberry Bliss was added to Basic White cardstock with the Blending Brushes. This is a great way to make any color cardstock you’d like! After inking it to the darkness I liked, I ran it through the embossing machine with the Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, I used a sanding block and rubbed it along the raised surfaces to remove the color–very cool technique, and super easy to do! Just FYI–Stampin’ Up!’s cardstock does not have a white core, so you have to add color to white cardstock first. If your cardstock has a white core, you can simple emboss that, and then sand it!
This is also a fun fold card–cut a piece of the Flowering Zinnia Designer Series Paper to 4″ x 10 1/2″–score at 2 5/8″ and 5 1/4″. Fold to create a “z – fold”.
I hope you enjoyed my card! Now, enjoy the rest of the hop–some great ideas out there!!
Love your card and technique for getting the white “core” without white core card stock!
