Good morning, and welcome to my blog! I have a few cards to share with you today–all created with the January Paper Pumpkin! This first card was created with some of the “leftovers”, after creating the others. I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketches:
The background piece is the back of one of the card bases included in the kit. The card bases are so pretty–I cut them in half, trim them to 5 1/4″ x 4″, then mount them on a Basic White Thick card base! Doubles your cards from each kit!! The sprig of lavender is from the kit, as well. I added the other elements–Perennial Lavender DSP, embossed sentiment, and the embossed circle in white! I love the way it came out!!
Here are three other ideas–most of these are close to the suggestions of the kit. I also cut apart the polka dotted card bases. And, used half of those to adhere the tags to–I don’t really use tags, so wanted more cards! They are all so pretty! I did add my own sentiments to all but the “with love”.
Here’s the sketch I used!
Such lovely papers! Love the colors and the embossing in the circle is so pretty. Thank you for sharing at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Thanks, Dena!
The card made up of “leftovers” is so pretty. Great job of putting the pieces together. If you hadn’t told us, I would have thought that all elements were deliberate and planned. The patterned paper is so lovely. Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
