Good morning! This Joyful Flurry set is one of my favorites! I will miss it when it retires after January 4th!! So, in the meantime, expect ALOT of cards using it!! 🙂
Today’s card was made for the design team call at CAS on Friday! I love their site and the challenges they offer! I’ve really embraced the clean and simple style! Wish me luck!
For the rectangle, I used my Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the middle of a piece of masking paper. I used the Joyful Flurry Stamp Set with Real Red, Night of Navy and Old Olive inks. Then, added some light Real Red ink with my blending brush. (if you look closely, you can see the “stitches” around the rectangle!). The sentiment is embossed in white on Real Red cardstock, and cut from the coordinating Frosted Flurry Dies (now discontinued). You could also use a smaller rectangle die!
