Moonlit Masking

Good morning! Hope this finds you having a wonderful day! I’m so glad you stopped by!

The card we’re sharing today is a fun one involving masking paper and blending brushes! A great combo, don’t you think?

Started by cutting out a deckled circle. Then, cut a small circle from masking paper–this will be your “moon”. Remove the backing, and place where you want your moon. Now, rip a piece of masking paper, so that you have a jagged edge–place that on your circle towards the bottom. Add Misty Moonlight ink, using a blending brush. Now, move your masking paper down just a bit, and add more Misty Moonlight ink–with a very light hand! Remove the masking paper, and do another light touch of Misty Moonlight ink! Remove all masking paper, including your moon. Stamp trees from the Grassy Grove stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I suggest using a Stamparatus (or other stamp positioning tool) so that you can stamp several times to get a dark image.

Emboss you background with the Snowflake Sky embossing folder, and than put your card together! Lovely!!
