Good morning, and thanks so much for stopping by! We have a challenge at SUO Challenges of “Celebrate the Moms”. I chose not to use a Mother’s Day sentiment, but instead used “you make my heart smile”. I know that Mother’s Day is hard for a lot of people (me!), and I liked this sentiment better! Although, Mother’s Day cards are so much fun to make–a great excuse to pull out all those floral sets we have! 🙂
I used the BEAUTIFUL Layers of Beauty Bundle! This bundle includes the decorate masks, the stamp set, and dies!! Decorative Masks are one of my very favorite things to use, and I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! now has two of these bundles!! (Enduring Beauty is the other). Colors used are Fresh Freesia and Petunia Pop for the flowers, and Shy Shamrock for the leaves. I heat embossed the sentiment–white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock. I didn’t have a die to fit the sentiment, so I used the Deckle Rectangles–you have to run it through twice, but you can literally create any size you want!

Beautiful card, Tammy! Love the purples and that bright green–I just got the new In Colors and can’t wait to play with them. And this is a great way to tweak the challenge a bit to make it fit what you need. I sometimes send out Mother’s Day cards to my friends who are mamas 🙂
