Good morning! Thanks so much for stopping by! I have a CAS card for you today, featuring the Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set!
My monthly stamp club asked for ideas using the Watercolor Pencils, so this was one of them! We used the Watercolor Asst 1 — using the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Pencils for this one. Stamp your image using Black Stazon Ink. Then, color with the pencils–start lighter, as you can add color if it’s not bright enough for you. For the flowers, color at the bottom of the flower, then use a blender pen to “pull” the color upwards. This gives a pretty, shaded effect! For the leaves/branches, I colored them in completely, then used the blender pen to blend the color together.

I’m entering this for the theme challenge at CAS on Friday — “Nature”! This is one of my favorite challenge sites, although I haven’t gotten the chance to play along in awhile.
