Good afternoon!! I’m home from work today–had a migraine until about 10 this morning, and am exhausted! So, I was hanging out on Youtube, learning some new techniques! I came across THIS VIDEO from GinaKDesigns–a fun technique using cover plates!! I used the Gorgeous Gardens Die, and the flower from Inked & Tiled. I love the challenge of making (copying) a card using my own supplies! I’m headed to shop after this–need some bigger images!! haha!!
Here’s a close up–so you can see how the image is stamped on the bottom layer, as well as the top layer that was cut with the cover plate die!
The Gorgeous Garden Die is cut three times–once from my stamped image, and then twice from just Basic White card stock. glue all three together for dimension! Then, glue that piece to the stamped image panel. Very cool technique. The video linked above will take you step by step through it all!!
