It’s Saturday! I’m just sitting here drinking my coffee and waiting for my class attendees to come!! (okay, the class doesn’t start for another 4 hours, but still!!!). I’m sharing a card I made for two challenges this morning: The Paper Craft Crew and the Color Throwdown. I love being told what to do, and when I can combine a sketch and color challenge–it’s perfect!!

For the background square, I used the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks to create the plaid. Colors are Crushed Curry and Evening Evergreen. Then a strip of Polished Pink is added, and finally a tiny square of Basic White cardstock, cut out using the Stylish Shapes Dies! I stamped the flower from Quiet Meadow in Polished Pink–stamped “off” on my scrap paper first, so it wasn’t so bright! Then added a couple of tiny flowers in Crushed Curry. Finally, then sentiment in Evening Evergreen! The bling are the In Color Opal Rounds. I love these–they add a subtle bit of color to any project!
