Good morning, and happy Tuesday!! Made it through my first day back at work yesterday! We’ll have to see how today goes! haha!!
There’s a new challenge at the SUO Challenge Blog — Silhouette Stamping! I love this technique–it’s so fun and easy, but creates striking cards!
To create this card, I cut 1″ strips of masking paper, and aligned them along the four edges of the card. This makes it easy to get straight edges! Then, using my blending brushes, I added Misty Moonlight, Wild Wheat and Copper Clay ink. Be sure you blend really well between the colors to create a seamless effect. Then, stamp the image of your choice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. (I use my Stamparatus so that I can stamp it 2-3 times to get a nice dark image!)
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Hello” from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set in Versamark, then heat embossed with white embossing powder! I punched out using a retired punch. (I was too lazy to stand up and use my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine!). It’s attached using Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Gorgeous, Tammy! Love the ink blending for the backdrop. I am not a fan of Wild Wheat, but it’s growing on me as a fall color.
Thanks, Christy! I really liked your card, too!!
