Good morning, and thanks for stopping by! Here’s a fun clean & simple card for you–made for the challenge at Less is More. The challenge is “Deck the Halls”, and i went with Snowflakes. I love to decorate my house with snowflakes–all shapes, sizes and colors. Here in New Mexico, we don’t get a lot of snow (not complaining!!), and when we do, it melts away pretty quickly. So, I enjoy having them indoors!
For the snowflakes, I watercolored onto water color paper, using several inks: Blueberry Bushel, Tahitian Tide and Gorgeous Grape, to create a really pretty background. Then, cut out several snowflakes from the Chic Dies–so pretty!!
The sentiment is embossed in silver on Basic Black cardstock, and fussy cut. That took a bit of time!! haha!!
Below you can see how shiny the sentiment is, along with the ones cut from the silver glitter paper!
I hope you’ll join us in this fun challenge!! Click HERE to join, and to see the rest of the design teams awesome projects!!
