Shaped cards–do you make them? Our challenge at CAS on Friday is to make a round card! I don’t make shaped cards very often, but this one was fun–might have to do more!!
I cut and scored a square card base, then cut out with the Spotlight on Nature dies. You have to shift the circle die just above the score line, so it doesn’t cut–creating the fold. You can see the “flat” top of the circle in the picture. The green circle is from the Springtime Scenes Bundle. The ladybug was stamped in black ink, then colored with Stampin’ Blends (Real Red & Basic Black).
Not sure you can see it, but I added a Garden Green circle die cut behind the front of the card, so it would show through the little cut outs.
