Good morning, and Happy Friday!! I’m so excited–our Sale-a-bration Stamp Camp is tomorrow morning!! We have a full house–which means so much fun and laughter!!
Today’s card was for the AAA Card Challenge! It’s a color challenge–Teal and Gold! What a gorgeous combinations!! I chose the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set and coordinating Meadow dies for my creation!
I made a rectangle template from a piece of Window Sheet, and added Bermuda Bay ink with a blending brush. You could also use masking paper to create your rectangle–whatever you have on hand! I cut the flower from Gold Metallic Paper. Then, I cut two more from Bermuda Bay cardstock–I glued these behind the gold. The Gold Metallic paper is so cool–it changes shades based on the angle! See below–it looks really bright gold!
The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink, then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I cut it out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Then added some gold Festive Pearls as an accent! I was very happy with how it turned out. I think there’s a lot of interest even though it’s clean & simple! Hope you like it, too!!
Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing your work with us on the AAA Cards Challenge.
Thank you, Sue!
