Happy Independence Day to my United States followers! We have a very appropriate color challenge today at Color Dare–Red & Blue!
Instead of a flag or fireworks, I went with a floral card. Mixed Florals is so pretty, and looks great in any color combination! For this card, I used Real Red and Blueberry Bushel. The background is stamped with the Painted Stripes Background Stamp, and the sentiment is from the More Messages bundle. This is a time saving bundle–one stamp and die to create all kinds of sentiments!! I keep them in an envelope in the stamp case–and just pull out what I need!

Here are the supplies used–have fun shopping!!

This is just gorgeous! Red, white & blue flowers are so perfect for any patriotic celebration.
I had to improvise–no flag stamps! Thank you for the sweet comment!!
Tammy this is gorgeous! I love the stripes in the background. The floral looks perfect in our colors. Great job.
Thanks, Michelle!
I just love this, Tammy, and I’m wondering why I didn’t think of that Painted Stripes background stamp for these patriotic colors! This reminds me of some cross stitch patterns I have that all have flowers and a flag. Love it!!! I’m going to have to keep this idea in my back pocket for my mom and sister’s birthday cards next year!
Thanks so much, Christy!!
Terrific way to use the colours for this challenge – love the flowers 🙂
Thanks, Alyson!
