Watercolored Leaves

Good morning!! We have a great color challenge for you over at Inspire.Create.Challenges!! Cherry Cobbler, Pretty Peacock and Crushed Curry! I immediately thought “fall”, and pulled out my Aspen Tree Dies!

To create the leaves, I used some watercolor paper and reinkers from the colors chosen. Lay down a water base first–really get it wet! Then, using the water painters, drop some of the ink right onto the water–it spreads fabulously! Don’t worry if the colors mix a little–it’ll all be fantastic! Here’s the sheet before I cut out the leaves:

Before I die cut, I used my heat tool to dry the ink. Then, make sure it’s completely dry before you try embossing it–if it’s damp, you’ll get embossing powder all over it!

Hope you like it! Now, head on over to the Inspire Blog and play along with us!!
