Another “scrappy” Card!

Good morning!! Two posts today! I had this card ready to go, and almost forgot to post it! and, the deadline is today!!

I’m “case”ing myself today for the TGIF Challenge to use our scraps! My original card was done using the Country Gingham Designer Paper–you can see that card HERE. Well, as I was cleaning out my craft room, I came across some strips of the Regency Part DSP, and thought I’d use them for this! Plus, this technique is so fun!!

It’s super easy–cut a bunch of strips of whatever designer paper you’d like. Mine are all 1/2″ wide. Cut a piece of cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. Then, start gluing your strips down! I started with the dark blue strip that runs almost vertically–then, had some fun! You could use the double adhesive sheets to do this technique, but I find it easier to do with Liquid Glue–it gives you more wiggle room to make sure you get your strips right against each other! Once you have all the strips down, trim off the excess!

Thanks, TGIFC, for a reason to make more of these cards!!
