Good morning, and happy Friday! Today’s card was made for the TIME OUT Challenge–Cancer Awareness/Encouragement/Friendahip. I thought this sentiment was perfect for encouragement!
Nicole Watts has a wonderful video where she teaches One Layer Spotlighting! I loved the look of it, so off I went!! I tried drawing a circle with a pencil, but when I colored with my Stampin’ Blends–I couldn’t erase the pencil!! So, I cut a circle from masking paper, and used that when I colored. I really love the way it turned out! And, it’s so much easier to color a spot, rather than the entire image!! haha!!
As a side note–when you’re stamping a large image like this, the Stamparatus is invaluable!! It makes it so easy to stamp it several times to make sure you get a great image!!
