Good morning! It’s back to work tomorrow. It sure was fun to have so much time to relax, stamp and relax! But, it’s time to get back to “real” life! It has shown me that when the time comes, I will not be bored in retirement!
On to today’s card! I made it for a new challenge (well, new to me!), called Color My Heart Color Dare! Picking colors is always a challenge, so when someone tells me what colors to use–that’s perfect! This was a fun one–shades of brown with two colors of my choosing! I went with Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive! Pretty fall colors!
The flowers were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then colored with Stampin’ Blends. They were cut out with the coordinating dies (Harvest dies), along with the background die cuts. The white panel was embossed with the Timeworn 3D embossing folder. It seemed a bit too bright, so I used a sponge and added some Early Espresso. This is a great bundle to have in your stash–so pretty, and cards come together so quickly!
