Hello!! I finally got to play along at the Color Throwdown! I love their challenges, and often use their color combinations–just not usually in time to join! haha!! This morning, inspiration hit me! I had the Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper out, creating another project. When I came across the colors (yellow, sage green & gray) for the Color Throwdown–well here’s what came:
This paper is like an adult coloring book! So relaxing to color! I used the light Daffodil Delight and light Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends to color. The printed flowers already have shading, so it’s really easy to color! The dsp is mounted on a panel of So Saffron cardstock, then a Basic Gray card base! For the sentiment, I pulled out my Sending Smiles Bundle! I stamped the “Sending” in So Saffron. I used my Stamparatus to stamp it multiple times–wanted it a bit darker so it would show up. The long sentiment is embossed in white on Basic Gray cardstock, and both are cut out using the coordinating dies! I’m super happy with how it turned out! Thanks for the inspiration CTD!!!
