Good morning! I have a super fun card for your viewing pleasure–and it was made for two challenges!! There’s a color challenge at Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges (your fav color combo!), and a theme of “Stripes” at Global Design Project!
This was not my first attempt, but we won’t go into that!! haha!! For this one, I initially masked off a rectangle on my card panel, and used my Foursquare Decorative Mask to create the little X’s. I did it once, then placed it again so that the X’s were closer together. Then, I cut strips of masking paper to create the stripes! I had to really think about where I was adding ink, and what color to use each time! But, I think it worked really well!
I don’t really have a favorite color combination–I think it just depends on what I’m working on. I’ve been thinking “baby cards” this week, so Lemon Lolly, Balmy Blue and Bubble Bath are what I’m reaching for! It changes with the seasons, too.
The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on Blueberry Bushel cardstock, and cut out with coordinating die. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Charming Sentiments–probably my most used stamp set!!

Hope you like it!! Have a wonderful day!!

Wow! I like how you made your background paper using the Foursquare mask. Sounds kind of tricky but the results were fabulous! You chose a nice color combo too!
Thank you, Tracy! It was a bit tricky, but I like the results!
