Welcome to my Castle!

Welcome, one and all, to my Castle on the Cherry Cobbler Path of the Royal Blog Tour!  I'm so excited to be a part of this wonderful journey you've embarked upon!

I chose to highlight the wonderful stamp set, Season of Friendship!  It's a very versatile stamp set that can be used for any season!

The first card is for the Holidays!  I adore snowflakes, and love this card!

RBT2

I used Early Espresso and Pacific Point–gorgeous togther, aren't they?  I stamped the tree first, then the snowfalkes all over!  I then used my versarmark, and "smushed" it all over the white cardstock–making sure there were no blank spots!  Then, I covered it in Irridescent Ice Embossing Powder!  Once heated, it really shines!  A fun, sparkly card!!  To continue the sparkles, I also used one of the Glimmer Brads from the Basics collection.  Here's a close up:

For my second card, I wanted to leave out the main tree image, and just use the smaller stamps:

RBT3

Again, a very simple card, but I love it!  Colors used are Old Olive, Real Red, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight.  I think the ribbon just "makes" this card:

RBT3a

It's just three layers of ribbon (Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight & Real Red), but doesn't it look nice?

For my third project, I made a fun calendar!  Very easy to do:

RBT1

I used the mini CD case for the stand.  Old Olive is the base of the calendar, then layered on Naturals White.  I stamped with Early Espresso, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.  The calendar itself is layered on a piece of Early Espresso, and the sentiment is stamped onto Daffodil Delight!

I hope you've enjoyed your stay at my castle!  Please let me know what you think!  Enjoy the rest of your journey!

  2. Tammy, your tour projects are great. Each one has pushed me closer and closer to buying that stamp set, and I think the calendar may well have pushed me over the edge! Love it.

Love your projects! I really love the ribbon treatment on the blue card. I’ve seen the loops for a bow scrunched in the middle and a brad added, but hadn’t seen just a simple strip of ribbon scrunched with a brad. Now If I were just coordinated enough to tie a piece of thread around a ribbon I’d be in business! lol

  4. Your Friendship tree with the snowflakes and glistening snow background is my favorite. Bet it’s that much prettier IRL.

  5. Tammy, I love what you did! I have this set so it was great to get some really neat ideas. I especially love the ribbon.
    Thanks for sharing,

  10. Thanks Tammy! I love the espresso & pacific point colors. I have not invested in all the new colors yet but I will definitely be putting these at the top of the list.

  11. Tammy: Love all your beautiful projects. Thanks for being on the tour and for being such a super Secretary on this tour. You were terrific.

  12. I am thinking that this is a really neat set. I have a question…
What/where did you get the little calendar that you attached?
