Good morning! And welcome to the Funky Folds Blog Hop! We are a group of like-minded paper crafters who love to make cards with funky folds. Funky actually means “modern and stylish in an unconventional or striking way”… so we are featuring cards that are not your usual rectangle/square portrait or landscape style. Think ‘easel’, ‘pop-up’, ‘gatefold’, ‘z-fold’, ‘shaped’ or 3D cards etc. The list is endless. All Blog Hops have an ‘anything goes’ theme using any type of ‘funky’ card fold!
This card fold was new to me, and I loved the idea! (original seen in Justine Hovey’s 12 Days of Christmas) I thought the Nest of Winter Designer Series Paper would make a perfect background scene for this card.
This is one of the cards we’re making at my Fun Fold Christmas Card Class on 11/23! It’s full now, but if you’d like to be on the waitlist, click HERE!
Below are the pictures of the card open. The two side pieces on the front are connected by a strip of a window sheet!
Be sure you hop on through — so much fun stuff in store for you!!
Great fold, it was great idea to use the window sheet. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Cindy!
This fold works so very perfectly with this paper! What a fabulous card I love it!
Thanks, Julia!
