Soft and pretty color challenge over at Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges! Soft Succulent, Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya — don’t they look gorgeous together?
And, the challenge at Retro Rubber is for a Spring Scene–daffodils scream spring!! This set first came out in a “mini” catalog from Stampin’ Up!–I think it was in January of 2020. (maybe 2021).
For this card, I used the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set colored with the Stampin’ Blends: Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral and Soft Succulent. The front of the card is only 3 inches wide, which allows you to see part of the inside of the card–that’s where I stamped the border style stamp in Calypso Coral. I had to stamp it twice–and that was a lot harder than I thought it would be!! Took me about 3-4 tries before it lined up perfeclty!
Here are the products used today:
Beautiful, Tammy – this is such a great daffodil set, lol, I’m sorry to see it go! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!
Thanks, Heather! I’ll miss it, too!!
I love that you used this Daffodil stamp for the SUOC this week. I just got that stamp set, even though I have had the dies for a while. I haven’t used it et, but looking at your card makes me want to CASE it.
I love the stamps, but don’t use the dies much!! haha!! Thank you for the kind words!
Beautiful card, Tammy! Those daffodils are great, and a wonderful stamp set to use with these challenge colors. I still have my old Stamp-a-ma-jig and use it pretty much every time I stamp to help line up images, and sometimes it’s still off. I call it the charm of a handmade card 😉
I have mine, too–should’ve pulled it out!! Thanks, Christy!
This is so pretty! I love the mix of layers and texture here. Thanks for playing with us at Retro Rubber this time. Claire DT x
Thank you! Nice to show our “old” stamps some love!
This is such a beautifully designed card and using the challenge to perfection.
Thank you, Cindy!! You’re such a great leader–thanks for all you do!
