This designer paper is so much fun to color! this was. a stray piece leftover from last week’s card, and was begging to be colored!! So I did–then, I wasn’t sure what to do with it! Headed to my Pinterest board of challenges, and found this awesome sketch from Just Add Ink!! It was perfect!!
I used Stampin’ Blends to color: Sweet Sorbet, Granny Apple Green and Pool Party. Simple coloring, no shading or anything! The sentiment (Charming Sentiments) was embossed with white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock, and cut out with the coordinating dies. For the layering, I just followed the sketch! In hindsight, I think I would add a layer of basic black behind the small piece of Sweet Sorbet–might make it pop more!
