Good morning!! There’s a fun sketch over at Just Add Ink! And, I made two cards from the same papers!!
To get the pattern, take a piece of designer paper and cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Then, cut this piece from corner to corner. It was tricky to do the second cut–had to hold the two pieces together, but I did it! I’m sure there’s an easier way, but this is how I did it!
I also used two different pieces of designer paper–you really could use just one, and flip two of the pieces over.
Which do you like better? For the second one, I used my small blending brushes and added Mossy Meadow and Sweet Sorbet to the die cuts. I think next time I’ll use lighter colors.
The sentiments is from the Love for You Stamp Set–I cut it up so it would fit on the heart!
They are both so pretty Tammy! Loving your choice of dainty patterns and colours, lovely use of the sketch. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink.
Thank you, Nicole!
What a great way to use these charming papers! I love the added ink touches on the second card, they give great depth to the die cuts. So glad you joined us at Just Add Ink this week.
Thanks so much!!!
I love your cards. I really like how you mix and match colors and make them work. Keep it up!
Thank you, Judy!!
