Good afternoon!! It’s a late post for me today! A day off from work, so it was time to play!! There were several challenges that were interesting, so wanted to try my hand at them!! The card for this post is being entered into THREE challenges! (well, two are both for “Black & White”). The Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge is Black & White–as a design team member, I go and check out all the entries! This lead me to a new-to-me challenge: Colorful Options!! Their January challenge is also Black & White! Here is my attempt!

The sketch comes from a FB group I just joined called “Case-ing Tuesday”. They choose a card from one of the Stampin’ Up! catalogs, and we get to CASE it (copy and share everything). You can see some Smoky Slate in the background–it was added with the water painters and classic ink pad!

So, what do you think? I really enjoy the black & white theme! Come back tomorrow for a White on White card!!!
Here are the supplies I used on today’s card:

So pretty! Love the black and white die cut flowers against the printed paper. Nice take on the sketch you were case-ing. Thanks for sharing at the Colorful Options January Challenge.
Thank you! I was so excited to find your challenge blog!
Great card. I love the diagonal scallop cut on the background. What a fun accent! Thank you so much for sharing it and joining us at the Colorful Options Challenge.

Thank you! I love the new Around the Bend Dies!!
Another stunning card, Tammy. I hope those dies never retire!
Thanks, Cindy! I hope they’re around forever, too!!
That smoky slate watercolor wash is the perfect background for the black and white dies. Stunning!
Thank you, Angel!!
Great card, Tammy! Black and white cards are a huge challenge for me, so I’m impressed that you tackled this challenge twice 🙂
Haha!! They are hard!! So tempting to throw just a splash of color!!
