Happy Thursday! I absolutely LOVE this stamp set, Joyful Flurry. And, when I saw the challenge at Perfectly CAS of “Snowflakes”, I was so excited to pull it out! There is also a “Clean & Simple Challlenge” at the Krafty Chicks Blog! I think this fits the bill!!
I love using non-traditional colors for the holidays. Pink is a go-to for me, but wanted to change it up for this challenge, so I used Highland Heather! I love it!
I used the same technique as yesterday’s card, and used the masking paper to mask off a stripe on the front of my card. This time, not only did I use my Blending Brush to add ink, I also stamped the snowflakes. Highland Heather was used for both the blending and stamping–the tone on tone is pretty! I added three die cut snowflakes out of white glimmer paper. The sentiment is embossed with white embossing powder. Very happy with this one!!
Here are the great products used on today’s card–all from Stampin’ Up!
Wonderful card, I just love how you used purple as your main color looks great with the white sparkly snowflakes! Thank you for joining us at Krafty Chicks!
Very pretty clean and simple card. I like how you stamped and ink blended with the same color. Great tone-on-tone effect. Thanks for joining us at Perfectly CAS.
