Good morning and Happy Sunday! I have a fun card that started out as a masculine card — not sure it ended up that way! What do you think?
I used the sketch at Pals Paper Arts for my layout:
Measurements:
- Very Vanilla: 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”; 2 ½” x 2 ½”
- Basic Black: 5 ½” x 2 7/8”, 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”
- Designer Paper: 5 ½” x 2 ¾”
Instructions:
- Stamp image in basic black ink on small piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
- Punch out using 2” circle punch.
- Punch scallop circle from basic black cardstock
- Adhere designer paper to basic black cardstock, then to very vanilla cardbase.
- Adhere very vanilla ribbon to designer paper, using Tear & Tape adhesive.
- Adhere Basic Black satin ribbon to the very vanilla ribbon, again using Tear & Tape adhesive.
- Assemble the circle punches and adhere to card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I think this is a card that’s perfect for anyone, Tammy! The layered ribbon trim looks great to hold the sentiment. Of course, black and the very vanilla look very elegant together. Thanks so much for joining us at the Pals Paper Arts this week and for using my sketch!
Wow! An awesome card that I would send to anyone! I love the classic color combo of black and vanilla. Thanks for playing at Pals Paper Arts this week!
Beautiful card! I always find it hard to come up with masculine card ideas but this is absolutely wonderful. Many thanks for sharing your talent with us this week for the Pals paper Art challenge!
